UPV is a public Higher Education Institution actively involved in international cooperation and mobility projects.

UPV-SABIEN has extensive expertise in the application of ICT to the social and healthcare systems, in Ambient Intelligence (AmI), in Ambient Assisted Living technologies (AAL), and also in reengineering and evaluation and validation of social and health care processes and solutions in real environments, not only dealing with the generation of indicators but also user and business-centered data, including a long experience in using mobile technologies for health and social purposes. The group is also responsible for several health-related websites, including several social webs, and it is very active in the health2.0 domain.

Ph.D. in Technologies for Health and Wellbeing, Antonio has more than 10 years of expertise for eHealth and Social and Demographic challenges. The research focus is in mobile health and use of wearables in chronic conditions.

Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering and General Manager of the Innovative UPVSABIEN group. His research focus is ehealth and integrated care, especially on the provision of home health care services through ICT and the concept of the patient empowerment and the citizen as health coproducer.

The Valencian Institute of Social Services (IVASS), with its own legal status, assets and resources, has the capacity to manage the policy of the Valencian Regional Government (Generalitat Valenciana) in the fields of: social welfare, elderly people, dependency and care of people with intellectual disabilities.

It provides assistance and acts in terms of social services and socio-health care; in addition, it protects, safeguards and guardianships persons with judicially modified capacity whose attribution are with the Generalitat Valenciana itself.

IVASS has more than 30 daycare centers, residences, occupational centers and sheltered houses, where its 800 professionals such as, physiotherapists, psychologists, nurses, carergivers, occupational therapists, social workers, and so on, who dedicate their efforts to the attention and care of 1.200 people with social care needs, it provides them, in a participatory manner, the necessary support for their integral development with quality service.

At IVASS, as a public entity, we work to consolidate a Quality Service, where ethics, the protection of the rights of our users or those who may request our services, and transparency, are the basis of the Commitment to improving Quality of life. Dialogue and mediation as communication tools are the pillars of IVASS; they are combined with the value of learning how to innovate.

Is bachelor on Psychology and Graduate in Business Administration. His most important field of work is the implementation of social marketing and corporate social responsibility activities in the disability field.

Has a diploma in Physiotherapy. She is the IVASS' coordinator of the pshysiotherapist team. She coordinates IVASS programmes related with health and physical exercise.

She is a Technical Industrial Engineer and Teacher of Vocational Training for Employment. She has participated as a technician in the department of European projects within IVASS.

Cercioeiras is a Cooperative Social Solidarity and Public Utility of Oeiras that aims to be an organization of excellence and a reference for constructing an inclusive society.

Cercioeiras has been putting efforts into promoting exercise and motor activity since its foundation. A great part of its work with IDP is based on sports or adapted sports, in order to promote a healthier lifestyle and quality of life. To achieve this goal CERCIOEIRAS offers a wide range of activities that promote physical activity (swimming, jogging, equestrian, dance, gym activities, aerobic activities and movement sessions). They also integrate a community of organizations that work with people with ID (intercenters), that offers different physical activities.

ORAS is a highly specialized rehabilitation hospital providing ordinary and outpatient treatments for patients with temporary or permanent disabilities characterized by a high scale of complexity, high clinical and nursing needs.

Accredited to the national healthcare system, ORAS pursues excellence in rehabilitation services and acts as a reference point for local, regional and national users. It provides a wide range of ambulatory services and imaging diagnostic and ultrasonography services but the core activities are hosted in three units: the Operative Unit Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, the Unit General Medicine and the Operative Unit Functional Recovery and Rehabilitation – Spinal Unit. The latter delivers ordinary and day hospital and outpatient services to people suffering from temporary or permanent disabilities, with physical and cognitive impairments due to severe brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological pathologies, musculoskeletal diseases, multiple injuries and prosthesis.

Is the Head of Human Resources, Training and Project Office. She is responsible for the ECM Accreditation and the family Audit and coordinates the design, management and reporting of national and European projects.

She´s graduate in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In ORAS she particularly focuses on neuromotor rehabilitation of patients suffering from acquired severe brain injury or spinal cord injury with associated intellectual disability.

Clinical psychologist, coordinates the Unit’s Psychological Service, contributing to the design of the rehabilitation paths for the patients with IDs and their families. She is carrying out research on cognitive impairment.

Physiotherapist, he coordinates the rehabilitation activities. He has more than 30 years of working experiences in the field of neuro-motor rehabilitation and training for patients with IDs and their caregivers.

Is an occupational therapist, she worked in a functional neuro rehabilitation ward with adults and in the day hospital service of the cognitive neurorehabilitation Unit

The Health informatics and -technology (HIT) group at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway was established 1994-95. From the beginning, the group has been responsible for teaching Medical Informatics / Health Informatics courses. The group has a long tradition working with clinicians at the University Hospital of North Norway (UNN).

The research approach is experimental (medical computer science) with a focus on implementing and testing health care technology (artefacts). The research in the health informatics and -technology group mainly focuses on: Mobile terminals and systems for personalized health (diabetes) (self-management/self-help/ self-monitoring), enhanced patient interaction through ICT, electronic disease and health surveillance, motivational mechanisms in eHealth, and increased physical activity for people with intellectual disabilities through eHealth tools.

Is a world leading expert on health informatics and e-health. Hartvigsen is professor of medical informatics at UiT and ass-leader of the PAID project
